One zucchini plant is enough :)

My one gardening lesson I would share with everyone is ‘one zucchini plant is enough’ , you turn your back and in the blink of an eye you have five more or in my case giant ones! I missed these two and this is what became of them, the one on the right is a normal size zucchini. The larger ones measure 40cm and over 3kg! When they get to this size they are marrows. In actual fact the marrow is the true fruit of the plant, we just pick them as immature fruit, these are called Zucchinis or courgettes. Marrows have lots of seeds. Too many for my cooking and a high water content which makes them mushy. So when I discover one I cut it in half and give them straight to the girls, they love the seeds!
